Sippet Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These terms are between you and Madeinoxy LLC ("we", "us") and cover getsippet.com and the Sippet app. By using Sippet, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Who can use Sippet

You must be 21 or older and able to enter a binding contract. Sippet is currently offered in the United States.

3. Sippet is a wellness tool, not medical care

Sippet helps you track and reflect on your drinking. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, therapist or treatment program. If you drink heavily every day, stopping suddenly can be dangerous; talk to a doctor before changing your drinking. In an emergency, call 911. For free, confidential support, call the SAMHSA National Helpline at 1-800-662-4357.

4. Your account

Keep your login secure and your details accurate. You're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete it at any time in the app or at getsippet.com/delete-account.

5. Subscriptions and billing

  • Sippet's core features are free. Sippet Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription, bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
  • Price and billing period are shown before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account when you confirm.
  • Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple or Google account settings. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel it.
  • If a free trial is offered, any unused part ends when you buy a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

6. Founding reservations

Reservations made on getsippet.com are covered by the Founding Member Terms.

7. Acceptable use

Don't misuse Sippet: no breaking the law, interfering with the service, reverse engineering the app, scraping it, or using it to harm others.

8. Your content

You own what you enter in Sippet. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you, as our Privacy Policy describes.

9. Our content

Sippet, Mochi, the app, its artwork and its software belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app for your own non-commercial use.

10. Disclaimers

Sippet is provided "as is". Calorie and money figures are estimates. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the past 12 months or $50.

12. Changes, suspension and ending

We may update Sippet or these terms; we'll give notice of significant changes. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. You may stop using Sippet at any time.

13. Apple App Store terms

If you downloaded Sippet from the App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support; Apple is not responsible for product claims, IP claims or warranty except as required by law, and if the app fails to meet any warranty you may notify Apple for a refund of its purchase price (if any); you confirm you are not in a US-embargoed country or on a US prohibited-party list; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries who may enforce these terms against you.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, USA. Disputes go to the courts of USA, Wyoming, unless the law where you live gives you other rights.
